Lost my dad April 8, 2009. My...I know how you feel. Lost my dad April 8, 2009. My father taught me many positive things, and infused some negative things that I (like everyone else who has had a parent) have to overcome. At one point I wasted a lot of time being angry at him in my youth (I'm only 37 now, my youth that's funny). You expressed many of the things I've felt the last couple years better than I could. In the end a biblical man once said, "Holding onto bitterness and anger is equivalent to shooting yourself in the leg to hit your offender with the recoil." My dad too was a flawed man. So am I.
